OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

SWAS work for social welfare, Sustainable Development, Human Rights, Women empowerment, Population welfare, Coronavirus COVID-19 awareness, Child Education, Clean water.
SWAS work for the rectification and implementation of Universal declaration of Human Rights and other related chartered covenant and protocols.
SWAS provide basic necessities of life such as drinking water, medical relief, and dowry to poor, and helpless girls, drainage and other rural development schemes like model villages particularly to the people and remote areas living in small villages.
SWAS help in keeping the environment free from pollution and other measures is also our priority. Interfaith Harmony and Poverty Alleviation Programmes. Child Labour.
SWAS educate and create consciousness among youth and women against drugs narcotics and HIV-Aids and to work for the welfare of youth and women.
SWAS co-operate with National and international organizations, groups and individuals engaged in promoting human rights and to participate in meeting and conferences on Human Rights at home and in abroad.

Educating and creating awareness among the masses about their fundamental freedoms and rights enshrined within the Constitution of Pakistan and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).


Campaigning
 at all levels through peaceful means for upholding the rights of vulnerable groups e.g. women, children, minorities, refugees, internally displaced people etc. To raise the awareness about issues like HIV/AIDS, poverty, genocide, ethnic cleansing etc.
Intervening to take necessary actions where human rights are being violated. By providing assistance to the victim's e.g. legal and technical aid to victims of human rights violations.

Documenting reported and unreported cases and investigating allegations of human rights violations and recommending appropriate action to the concerned authorities

Publishing the research reports, facts, data and studies conducted by the SWA SENTHAL and its volunteers to highlight the situation of human rights. Also propagate the research carried out/ work done by independent sources.


Mobilizing the local communities, sensitizing the public and raising the issues at all relevant forums to find local solutions.

Networking and building relationships with organizations, groups and individuals engaged in promoting human rights.

Corona Virus COVID-19 Pandemic Awareness.  To provide awareness, assistance, to general public and needy peoples.

United Nations Conventions, Covenants and Treaties

Social Welfare Association Senthal (SWAS) Pakistan is committed to promote the agenda of the United Nations on human rights, peace, security, sustainable development, poverty, Human Rights Education and other issues by following its charters, conventions, covenants and treaties in Pakistan.
SWA Senthal contribute to the United Nations through advocacy campaigns, conferences, training workshops, seminars and commemorating international days of the United Nations on human rights, child, peace, violence against women, and other international days.
